Is the system automated or did someone actually do this flight? I find it... slightly problematic. I don't quite think it'll work like that, chief.

I assume you're talking about the airframe listed there?

I seem to remember that there have been some issues when the data is uploaded and assigning the correct airframe. When these issues come up, I believe the staff have gone back to look/correct them. With several thousand flights in our schedule, it is not possible to do a quality control check on all of them.

A 777 on that route could probably get out of LGA (very lightly loaded), and possibly could land RWY 1/19 (7,100 ft) at DCA, but you'd better be dead-on speed and glideslope (and don't float the landing!). I seem to remember seeing some of the "small" airports that the 777 landed at, and they were always after a short flight (so, light weight). Regardless, there are operational restrictions at both of those airports that would prevent it, even if you could physically get the AC up and down.

Give it a try in the sim!

Go ahead and file a help desk ticket … the team can resolve those. I wonder if it’s a relic of the sky team schedule, since that doesn’t have equipment types for all flights and we need to make a guess. Not sure how we came up with a 77L confused

Cheers

If you can file a help desk ticket I’ll pull the flight and see about updating it to the correct airframe. wink

I have adjusted this to a more accurate airframe. If this is found in the future, please create a help desk ticket and we will see about fixing this. Keep in mind when the schedule automatically updates and refreshes it will show the correct airframe. smile As Thomas and Luke have said, when we updated our schedule some equipment codes were not read correctly. It's an easy fix. In the help desk ticket, be sure to note the flight number and route for us. It makes it 100 times easier. wink
