have used vpilot before but for some reason i cannot get voice to work now. i have opened it up as administrator and have tested both mic and speakers. any ideas.... thatnks

Hi Donald,

When you say you tested your Mic and Speakers, do you mean in Windows sound settings?
My next question would be do you see the appropriate Voice and Playback devices are selected in vPilot.

i did check my mic with vpilot and it shows as good output i can hear the controller just cant for some reason talk to them

Donald, when you run vPilot and go into Settings then Audio, do you see the indicator for "Mic Volume" move when you speak into your microphone?

yes i do that is why i cannot understand why it is not working. i havent been on vpilot for a while but the last time i used it i could transmit

This is a wild shot here, but I did have an issue with my laptop recently after an update.
If this is Win 10 or 11, check the following when you can.

Right-Click Start, then click settings
Click Privacy, in the left hand menu click Microphone

In the main window you should see a list of applications that are allowed to use your microphone.
I'm assuming the "Allow apps to access your microphone" option is ON already.
Make sure vPilot is also toggled on in the apps list in the lower part as well.
