Hi,
I wonder how the schedules are created, especially for codeshare airlines. I read somewhere they were taken from SkyTeam's schedules.
But for example, I see that AS flies from PAKT to several destinations within Alaska.
But I can't find these flights on our schedules.

Oren, Alaska Airlines ended their partnership with SkyTeam and joined OneWorld. We may still have some AS flights in our older schedules. We haven't decided if we are going to keep those as historical or remove them. What do you think?

Hmmm.
I'll tell you what I think.
I like AS as an airline (I mean as a passenger), and I like that they have some very cool liveries (Cars and starwars for example).
I also like flying different places in Alaska - it has some of the most exciting approaches and scenery.
But obviously it's not the main airline to fly while in DVA, so I understand any decision. It's pr9bably more about what we want DVA to be. There are ither VAs for people who want a generic no rules VA just to use as a logbook.
But then, let's talk about historic airlines. Where are thise routes coming from? For example, I flew Pan Am on 1989 from Tel Aviv to Paris to New York to LAX.
I can't find PAA Tel Aviv to Paris.

departedflights.com and timetableimages.com were great references. When i was helping in Ops, i also got a lot from printed out timetables from Delta and NW i bought off ebay. smile
