Just a quick questions guys, Why are you having such a problem with staffing. I have been watching since the change of Leadership and it is like constant. As a member I am a little concerned when I see this type of stuff happening on such a regular basis. I work in a leadership positon in the corporate world and find this as not a good sign.

Hi Gaston,

Absolutely no problems in staffing. People become busy and less active sometimes as time passes. Others want the opportunity to lead. It is important for us to nurture the next generation of ACPs and CPs so they can one day take my job. We have exciting things coming to the airline soon and we need good people to help us attain our goals. I was 757 and MD-11 CP in 2008. I left to raise my children. I came back in 2017 and continue to donate my free time to the airline. It is just the way of things when you only offer volunteer jobs. Nobody is getting paid here (unlike the corporate world).

Without getting into the specifics of the individual staff positions that have recently turned over, I can say that people are choosing to prioritize their time with their families. That is a good thing.

Greetings Gaston,

As Chris pointed out we don't have any problems in staffing. I will add on to what Chris stated. Sometimes our pilots have real world priorities which take precedence over Delta Virtual Airlines. I for one am all about family time and spending time with family first and foremost. We have many pilots who want to lead and when we have the opportunities presented, we encourage them to put in for the positions. I am sorry that you see this different, but rest assured this is a good thing as Chris pointed out. smile

Best regards,
Joe
