I'm a newbie, who's trying out how to get started. e.g. IF I already have the planes for my fleet (FSX), must I download them again? How do I interface my existing FSX (or FS2020) to DAV? Perhaps I'm overlooking the obvious, but I've called myself making an attempt to find this info on my own. Thanks for any reference... It would also be nice to have a search bar within the page of each "Cooler" category.

Hey Jake! Welcome!

You are welcome to fly any plane you want as long as you are rated for it, in FS. So if you already have a 737 that you love to fly, you are not required to download the fleet 737 from the deltava.org website. Unless ofc you want too. I.e., I use PMDG 737, and love it.
For MSFS2020, I do not think any of our fleet aircraft work in it. The default planes in MSFS2020 though are fairly good. The only caveats is for some checkrides, they will specify which planes you cannot use because of data issues in ACARS.

For interfacing FS to DVA Acars, download ACARS and it should come bundled w/ FSUIPC. If it does not, then search FSUIPC online and download the appropriate version. It is free (although you can buy it if you like, it works perfectly fine free version)

FSUIPC auto-starts when you start FS / ACARS

To search in the watercooler, simply click the Water Cooling headin in the top panel of the website, drop down menu, and search is there in it, you can search any channel you want.

Hope this helps!
