I noted a few months back that there was a NOTAM that some flights were missing and others had been restored. I recently went to fly an Alaska Airlines flight and noticed that there are no flights that show up for Alaska Airlines. This is also true for Aeroflot Historical, ITA and Alitalia Historical airlines as well. I put in a ticket back when I noticed this and said it would be looked into but heard nothing back. Just wondering if I missed an update or if someone had some insider knowledge.

I know that Alaska and ITA are no longer codeshare partners (Alaska joined OneWorld and ITA left SkyTeam to join Star Alliance). Aeroflot codeshares were dropped by Delta in early 2022 for geopolitical reasons (Ukraine invasion). Because these airlines are not codeshares anymore, there are no current flights in our database.
I was under the impression that the historical flights were still there, but I haven’t checked recently.

Yea. The Atialia routes were supposed to become Hystorical routes. In the NOTAm sent out in January it said that ITA and Aitalia Hystorical routes are avialable. . Stinks because some routes I liked to fly are gone now.

Same, I thought Alaska would now fall under Alaska Historical as well.

I think the precedent for Alaska is Continental - we dropped their routes when they left SkyTeam and joined Star.

When i was in Ops I would typically take former scheduled flights that dropped off the schedule and move them to an historical schedule. this was extremely time consuming though. Ops may not have the time to do this or have other priorities. Fly them til they're gone!

Ah, I think they're gone for good then. Not seeing any in the historical or present time (as expected).

Again, Alaska is a situation of changing airline alliances, not mere schedule changes.
