Tried to set up flight from ZWAT for China Eastern flights. This airport, and as I discovered, and many other Chinese airports are not in any flight planning app. I use SimBrief for most of my flight planning. According to Navigraph many Chinese airports are not in their database mostly because China doesn't publish info about them. So why does DVA still have them in its database if we can't create a flight plan for them? Why not remove them as they are discovered to not be in flight planning databases?

But the airport does exist. Perhaps you should ask the authors/maintainers of the planning apps you use to update their databases?

Looking at the Navigraph forums, many others have already asked. Navigraph says unless China releases airport data, nothing they can do. I did discover that all the Chinese airports are in XPlane 12 and that the XP Flight Planner has the option to use XPlane database so all is not lost.

A recent extract of the China AIP is published here regularly. It's not ideal, but perhaps it will give you some help with your flight planning.

Navigraph is basically fed by raw Jeppesen data, and even Jeppview World lacks a lot of domestically used Chinese airports.

For these situations I used LittleNavMap which builds the flight planning database off of your simulator rather than a third party data provider.

Thanks Luc and Alex. I totally forgot about LittleNavMap using the XPlane database. I'm so used to using the Navigraph database. LittleNavMap is my primary flight planning tool. Reloaded the XPlane scenery files. Works perfectly.
