One of the things I've never been entirely satisfied with is the way we handle pilots on leave. The system would lock out pilots on leave, making it no different than being retired or inactive. I'd like to make leaves more pilot-driven.

I've therefore changed the way the site handles pilots on leave. Going on leave of absence will prevent you from receiving any e-mails regarding notification, and will disable the standard inactivity warnings for 180 days. If you log in again, you are automatically marked active. I will be adding a link to the Pilot Center in the next few days to allow you to go on leave without an e-mail.

Very nice Idea, therfore if somebody can't make it back for a week or 2 he can take a leave, And is Status would show him "On Leave" incase somebody can't reach him. Very Nice Idea I'm all for it.
