Dan Ward has decided to step down and become a 'regular' pilot once again (returning back to where he came from - 777 Senior Captain). So this means that there is an opening for a new 737 Assistant Chief Pilot (ACP).

If you're interested in applying for this position you'll need to have good communications skills; a good working knowledge of the 737; and a good understanding of airline operations. Also prior experience with Delta Virtual Airlines is a plus.

You'll be working with Anthony (Tony) Piasecki our current 737 Chief Pilot. The ACP will assist the CP with the overall operations of the 737 program such as approving PIREPs; grading exams and checkrides; and fielding general questions from other members. If you want to know more details, then you can ask Tony or any Chief Pilot or Assistant Chief Pilot and they can give you a better explanation of the day to day duties required.
