I vaguely remember this being covered in the past but I can't seem to find any of the posts on it that really answer my question so I apologize if people are having to repeat themselves.

I'm trying for an additional type rating on 777. The test is done but I need a flight video. Do I talk to my chief pilot or the 777 chief pilot (or someone else).

Thanks. (Especially to you guys who grade the exams and flight videos. I hope our answers aren't TOO amusing)

PS If anyone is ever revising the promotions manual in the future I would offer my humble suggestion that it includes more specific instructions on how to procede with a flight video or check ride (i.e. what is usually expected, and who to contact) Just so people don't have to ask around every time.

Shoot off an email to the 777 chief pilot asking what they need.
