I couldnt resist the above post..LOL...but yea..I think its about time cessna went modern.It helps alot to familerize new pilots with glass cockpits,but I still think new pilots need to learn how to fly the needles also..old vs new...its good to have knowledge of both.

Cessna is now offering the Garmin G1000 Glass Cockpit Panel, I too was surprised they installed it in a Cessna, especially the venerable 182! It goes for about (I think) US$215,000 with the G1000 and $185,000 with the standard panel.
