I think you?re from Louisiana? If so, I have a business trip that way and was wondering what you can tell me about Gonzales, La. I know it is between Baton Rouge and New Orleans (been to both) but have never even heard of Gonzales. Is there anything to do around there, or would it be best to head over to New Orleans? Also, I hope you all get the weather under control prior to my flight out there....

Gonzales is about 20 minutes drive south of Baton Rouge proper via Interstate-10.
Baton Rouge is closer to Gonzales...there is plenty to do here in BTR..not very much in Gonzales though.
Lots of Chemical plants there and truckstops and video poker casinos...thats about it.

Thanks for the info. I always enjoy visiting your state, there's a lot of history out there. I guess I'll drop by Baton Rouge and perhaps, time permitting, New Orleans. Hope you all are drying out over there.
