I have got a little Q&A for you all. I have take my CRJ-200 Captain test and passed, also my 727 first officer test and passed. I want to know what is up? I want to know what is happening now? What do I get? I have got the emails that said I passed, and I can no longer take those two test, but it has not showed up anywhere that I am a captain on a RJ or a FO on a 727. Please help me out, thanks.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if this is incorrect, but I believe because you are in the 737 program, you would have to test for promotion to Captain in the 737. Your 10 flights that qualify you for Captain must also be all in the 737. Again, I believe this is the way it works. If not, I'm sure someone will follow up with the correct information.

One more thing, the 727 is a category above the 737. You will probably have to submit a flight video to earn the extra certification for this aircraft. Check the Promotion Guide in the DVA Documents area.

This is incorrect. As a Stage 2 pilot, Josh can take a Stage 3 FO examination to get an additional rating in a Stage 3 craft. The CRJ Captain's examination was somewhat superfluous, but hey, never hurts to get the practice.

Cheers!

In that case, should I get the 757 rating? I passed the test.
