Just out of curiosity, I went to it to see if it was reopened, and, low and behold, it was.

Now am gonna crack open my Mad Dawg manual again and take the Cap'n's test.

No, the test itself is conducted via the website. A URL to the exam (in case you closed the window by accident) will be sent to you with a due time as well. Once the exam's been graded, the grade will also be sent to your email address.

BTW, I got a 100. :-D

One thing to remember--if you're running a pop-up blocker like the Google Toolbar or something similar, disable it before clicking on your test. Otherwise you may never get your exam because it will be blocked as a pop-up window. (I have the Toolbar set to allow pop-ups on deltava.org, but just to be safe I left Ctrl-click on the test...that bypasses the blocker as well.)

Or a firewall (like my ZoneAlarm) that does the same thing. Good ones like ZA allow you to make exceptions to that rule.

Thanks for the feedback. I know Geoffrey and Mark Mestre put a lot of effort into this, and I'm glad that the overall impression is positive.

I will probably start enabling more examinations this week, once Terry and Ralph come up with a consensus as to what the passing scores should be.

Cheers!
