I just tried to file a pirep for a South African Airlines flight from JNB - ATL. I kept getting an error if I tried to choose ATL as a departure or arrival airport. I filed it using JFK and it worked fine. It kept telling me to "choose an arrival airport" or "choose a departure airport"

THanks for the help.

There was a long-standing bug in the PIREP form that didn't like it if you selected the first airport for an airline. I believe I have this one fixed now.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Cheers!

Luke

Yea Paul it is a loooooooong flight. I flew JFK-JNB a few weeks ago, and it was long I belive it is one of the longest non-stops EWR-HKG being another.

Luke, thanks for the quick fix.

My flight was actually 2 flights. JNB-SID was 9h 40m then a 1h layover for fuel and passengers, then SID-ATL was 7h 54m. My return flight back to JNB will be nonstop and scheduled for just over 15 hours.

My next flight will be up to Paris from JNB then a round trip to St. Maarten. Been wanting to try that approach and landing for quite some time in a widebody.
