You will note that the aircraft installers are now available, with two signficant exceptions. These installers should be good to go for both FS2004 and FS2002, so please feel free to download them and give them a whirl. Each one should install an aircraft (or several) and a working panel. Please do your fellow pilots a favor and save my bandwidth - download from the mirror sites if at all possible. If you have DSL or cable, you WILL want to do this. Trust me.

Please note that I'm still not 100% sure that all will work, in both FS2002 and FS2004. Your feedback is greatly appreciated in order to preserve our lead as the airline with the best fleet on the Internet today. I am confident that what we have right now is a quantum leap beyond crummy ZIP files that require an intricate understanding of the inner workings of MSFS. No longer. High quality installers are going to be the price of entry for virtual airlines, just like a great automated web site was cutting edge in 2001.

If you report bugs, I will fix them. People mentioned that the MD-90s didn't work with FS2004, so the installer has been updated to disable them if you select FS2004. They have been a touch rushed out the door, but I'm proud of the fact that despite my neglect of the fleet for 2+ years, I think DVA now has the best fleet on the Net.

The two exceptions mentioned above are the 727 and the L-1011. (Actually three - the MD-11, but I haven't even started this one yet.) The 727 did have an installer, but I am updating it to use the FFX 727 instead of Mike Stone's model, the Richard Probst panel and the Charles Fox FDE. This may take a few more days to integrate and test. The L-1011 is half-done, but the panel and my FS2002 install don't seem to get along well. You'll be getting two models, the Series 100 and the Series 500.

Please give the new fleet a whirl.

Cheers!

Luke

Hey Luke, so you are having problems with the L10 panel? It is my L10 panel? hmmm, may be the problem is that I included a specific configuration for the CIVA INS system. Please check your mail, I sent a new panel.cfg, just replace it. And lets see what happens....
Thanks.

I don't think it's the INS - it's that the artificial horizon and the flight director don't want to appear. Which is a shame, because I had that panel in FS2000 and loved the FD.....

Cheers!

Are the new installers for 2004 the ones located in the fleet library? I downloaded them yesterday and they installed fine but the CRJ, ERJ, MD-80 would not load. The ATR72 installled fine but the gauges were messed up. THe 757/767 seemed to be just fine.
