Just a question for you all. If you are flying a codeshare flight, say for Korean or Continental, do you use their callsign, or do you still call yourself Delta? I mean on-line. Thanks.

Some people do, some people don't. It's more realistic if you do, but I personally don't choose that one. My argument is: I belong to DVA, that's why I put pon the RMK it's a KAL or CO codeshare.

Hope it helps!

Cheers!

OK, I guess it is your discretion, then. Your argument makes sense to me, though, so I will stick with Delta callsign.

For me I use the call sign of the flight I am flying. Why bother to fly a codeshare if you are going to call a Continental flight a Delta flight? The reason to me to have codeshare flights is to allow us to fly to locations not served by Delta and to fly other callsigns without having to join a bunch of differant VA's. It is really up to each pilot to decide. You can log into VATSIM and be any flight, real or imagined you like, as long as you follow the VATSIM rules.

While I agree with Raymond I simply use DAL1044. Its easier to track myself on servinfo;p
