Well, here's what I typed on the ZLA forum, if you want pics and pics of my setup! Sorry I couldn't wait for you. I saw you on final but then I was waiting for a relief because I've been on for nearly 5 hours. Thanks for everyone who flew under and I hope this was an excellent experience for you. Comments can be made at the ZLA forum as we always appreciate them, or emailed to us.

Chanse,
You guys at ZLA did a FANTASTIC job, the best ATC I have ever had, and really great traffic as well!! When are you going to have another event like this one?

Should be the Cal Screamin' X. Features not only ZLA, but ZOA, ZAB, ZLC, SDV, and ZSE. Not positive though. It"ll be just like Rush Hour. All Rush Hour was is concentrated on LAX but it was more or less another Cal Scream.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. From the scope, LAX looked like a green blob. This wasn't my first time controlling a big event, which I worked a few Cal Screams, but overall it was fun.

I counted probably near 200 aircraft in our airspace all together throughout the whole event. That's estimated, not exact.

Trevor- thanks for your comments. ZLA's training program is extensive and requires a lot of dedication to learn Socal, individual TRACONs, and Center (NonSocal Airspace and aircraft near 13000 and up). This is our reward. Pilots complimenting us or what not. I look forward to seeing you, and DVA a lot more in our airspace. By the next event, I should be working an approach position. smile

Again, thanks for flying from DVA and all those who made it to the event.

Chanse, I wasn't in KZLA airspace yesterday but I'll throw in a compliment for how you guys do things out there. I know that if I fly into LAX or its environs, I'd better have my stuff tight, because the controllers definitely will!
