Wish me luck, peoples. I took my Captain's test for the MD-88 last night. So hopefully sometime soon I'll either be drinking heavily in celebration (and as part of some traditional pilot's hazing ritual), or drinking heavily in preparation for another round of studying the manuals :).

Very true, that's why you keep the two separate. Drinking + Flying is akin to Drinking + Driving...and neither of them should EVER be done.
Still waiting to find out my test results, though. So I guess we'll have to reschedule the party :).

It took me a few to figure out exactly what he was trying to say :). All those asterisks and capital letters must've befuddled my aged and decrepit brain :).
Thank you. I had a really long speech prepared, but I think everyone would prefer if I just shut my mouth, and tapped the keg :). Only for those of legal drinking age, of course. And those that don't have a flight in the next 24 hours :).
