Okay, I have a question regarding filing PiRep for a not so typical flight.

I was flying DVA flight#178 TJSJ-KATL. I decided to fly with failures on this time to test my piloting skills. Halfway through the flight, I lost engine #1 and could not get it restarted due to fire and had to make an emergency landing at Nassau intl. (Bahamas). After an overnight stay, I was back under way. Now, do I file my PiRep as normal with just the Flight#? Or is there anything different that must be done?

This ones just a little twisty for me as the flight from Nassau into Atlanta is normally flown with the DC-8 which I am not type rated for.

Ken,
You can file two PIREPs each with the same flight number but different legs. TJSJ-NAS would be leg 1 and NAS-ATL leg 2. Just include the emergency info in the PIREP.

Ken,

It's perfectly okay to substitute, say a 767 for that flight.
