I was just curious what status did you need to get the 747 additional rating? When I took the F/0 test for the triple 7 and the MD-11, I got the A330 and 340 as additional ratings. What does it take to get the 747? thanks.

The 747 ratings are supposed to be automatic with any of the primary stage 4 ratings. Matt, I've added the 747 to your profile for you.

Do you just need to pass the DC-8 F/O test or do you need to do a checkride as well for the DC-8 to get the 747 rating?
