Gaston, the only advise you need is to go out and get a stick of 512DDR. I'm not sure how your system is even running on 256K of RAM? I was under the impression that XP Pro needed 512 as a requirement but I must be wrong. Anyway, you will not believe the difference in performance you'll have if you upgrade your RAM.

David,

The min reqs for Windows XP are PIII 450MHz 128Mb (or 64Mb?) RAM (believe it or not), my Windows boots up in 7 seconds. But it gets cranky on FS. 128Mb min req for FS9. Nevertheless I'm not the one having problems, I'm trying to get to help Robert here. And, yes, I know I need a lot more RAM, but down here... it's waaay too expensive. 85 dollars 512Mb PC2100 DDR, while in the US I can get double qty for that price..

Thanks for your concern though,

Cheers!

Run FS with a Gig of PC3700 in a dual channel Motherboard!. I do and it makes FS really run nice. I think thats why I have few problems. Usually when I start having problems its when I "tweak" windows just a tad to much!
