One difficulty that many of you have when posting images to the Water Cooler is the size limit I set on those images - 128K. JavaScript has no means of reading from your local filesystem (this is a good thing) so I cannot check the size of the image before you save your post.
However, I have found a little bit of code that (in IE) should let me do this. I'm leery of implementing this because for the first time I'll have the ability to read from your local hard disks. I can either implement it all the time (if you don't like it, don't post an image) or I can make it optional (take your chances when you submit).
Any thoughts?

Its ok with me but some pilots are cautious about having another computer reading their files. Would this have any effect on users with firewalls?
