Hey all,

So after 4 or 5 days of being with the VA, I've got my Captain Rating in the CRJ program plus I completed the Boeing 737 First Officers test and passed it....so is the B737 program the next step for me or is there another program on the same level?

Thanks
Scott

The B737 and the MD-88/MD-90 program are both Stage Two, so you can go into either one. You might want to try flying both sets of planes a little and see which one you like more.

To get promoted to MD-88 First Officer, you need to pass the MD-88 First Officer's test (when it's put back into the Testing Center--should be soon), and find out what Mark Lee and/or Joe (the MD-88 Chief Pilots) want you to do for a flight video, and send that in.

You can go to the Document Library in the Pilot Center and check out the Pilot Promotions Manual. That's got the information on all the various programs and what you have to do for the various ranks within them.

Thanks Lewis,

I went to the testing center and was able to take the B737 course, yet after I finished all the CRJ tests and the B737 FO test there was no more tests for me to take...

They're still working on the Testing Center, not all the tests have been revised and put back in yet. A few of them are there, but not all. (I'm in the same boat you are, I'm waiting for the B777 and DC-8 F/O tests to go back in, hehe.)

Lewis, since I know you're interested, as soon as the test is completed and available, I'll drop you a line.
