	Hi all! I just got accepted into Delta Virtual and I'm really excited about being here. Out of all the VA's I've seen, this has to be the most organized and interesting. The website is amazing, tons of preferred routes, charts everything I could possible want just a click away, well done guys! I just had a couple questions before I got started. According to my profile, I am "stage 3". I guess this means I can fly a whole ton of planes. However, it says I can fly the CRJ up to the 767 but not the 727 or 737, I read the pilot manuel but I'm still a bit fuzzy on how the promotions and qualifications work. Could someone fill me in? Also, how can I get some assigments, I live in Canada so I have no idea where to go lol. Thanks and hope to see you in the skies, Will

	Hey Will, Welcome to DVA, we're glad to have you aboard! To answer your first question, all pilots are given all of our Stage 1 ratings immediately. Stage 1 planes are predominantly regional aircraft. Above that, you must test for ratings into the other Stage 2 and Stage 3 aircraft types. A new Promotions Guide is receiving it's finishing touches and should be released very shortly. At DVA, we don't assign flights to our pilots. You can look in the Pilot Center under flight planning and find flights to fly. You can pick flights and fly them, as long as you're rated in the aircraft you're flying. You can also fly any flight from the real world DAL timetable as well, so long as you're rated in the aircraft. If you have any other questions, post them here or drop us a line and it will be answered!

	Ok after reading through more ot the water cooler posts and the promotions manual I'm starting to get it lol. Just one more question, if I fly the 767 would that count as one of my ten legs needed to get my promotion to stage three / 757 captain?

	Will Welcome aboard Delta Virtual Airlines. To answer your question: Yes at this time the 57 and 67 are both stage 3 aircraft with like flight characteristics. So you can fly 57 or 67 and they count to your 10 flights for the captain seat. Cheers, Andrew

	For the B727 rating you will have to take and pass a written test. It does not fly like any other plane in the fleet and has different operating procedures than the newer glass jets.

	Yep, I'm well acquainted with the 727 thanks to dreamfleet ;). You can't call yourself a real flight simmer until you've done a succesful flight in the Dreamfleet 727 with the Carousel INS gauges, that is crazy fun. So can I take the 727 first officer test now? Or do I need to get promoted to 757 captain first?

	You need ten flights in the B727 before testing.
