Hi All;
Like John I also have a question on how manuals read.I had two mistakes according to my results.

QUESTION #2
In a METAR, when the sky is considered BKN, what part of it is covered by clouds?
5/8 to 7/8.

6/8 to 7/8 This was my answer, The manual reads 6-7/8.

QUESTION #13
Why did Boeing design the 757?
It was designed as a replacement for the 727.

(For superior range and economics ) My answer ,is it possible that this is a correct answer as well.

Just curious;

In response to your particular test, on the METAR question, the answer given in the flight encyclopedia is incorrect. I will advise the Chief Pilots to accept either the correct answer or the answer given in the flight encyclopedia until we can update the encyclopedia.

As for the other question, that could be debated. Bottom line, you passed the test with those as your only 2 misses. If you were "on the bubble", so to speak, and changing an answer would make you pass, I'd see to it that the answer was changed. Since we don't give bonuses for 100%, please take our apology and know that we're working to fix the manual.
