I just did a Avianca flight from Barranquilla to Bogota.
The I understand this is we can fly Avianca flights as long as they have have Delta flight numbers.
This flight is Delta 8918 but the problem is can't file this flight. It seems Barranquilla airport is not in the database here at Delta virtual.

Well I'm also interested in knowing if we can fly Avianca flights, tell you guys the truth I didnt know we could wink

But this will be really cool since I'm originally from Colombia.

Hi Juan I'm happy to see I'm not the only one wanting to fly Avianca flights.
I've been flying Avianca 757 and 767 flights from Miami to Bogota and from Bogota to Miami. These flights come up with Delta flight numbers through the SkyTeam timetables. So the way I understand the rules we can fly these flights.

The Avianca code share flights also display in DAL's real world schedule. The DAL schedule is a "safer" resource to use when selecting a flight segment. The Sky Team schedule includes all Sky Team member flights many are not DAL codeshares.

Thanks Terry for the info.
So I just went to Delta Airliens real site and enter in a flight.
If you are viewign Delta's main page and scroll down to the fligth informaion box.
In the flight number aera I type this flight number 8918. It comes up as an MD80 flight from Barranquilla to Bogota and the flight is operated by Avianca. Is this a flight that we can fly file a PIREP for?
If we can I think Barranquilla airport needs to be added to the database it seem to not be on the list of airports in the PIREP section.

Can someone on the management side of things here at DVA. Please give me some kind of offical word on Delta's codeshares with Avianca. Are these valid fligths here at DVA?
