I recently passed the MD-11 test as an additional rating. In the promotion manual it says that I need to take a checkride as well, but in my pilot profile it says that I already have the rating. Do I still need to take a checkride?

The checkride/video is for entering the Md-11 Program, not for being able to fly it. You have the rating but as a 757 program member. With the checkride you would leave the 757 and enter the Md-11 program.
