Hiya folks,

Everytime I fly the LVL-D, and it asks me for the Cost Index, I routinely put in the value of 36. Is there a policy for Deltava regarding the proper cost index? I do believe that LVL-D simulates Cost Index realistically. Just want to hear your thoughts.

Delta B767-300ER
ECON 113
SL1 75
OT1 377

ECON is for minimum cost operations
SL1 is somewhere around two-thirds of the ECON for even better fuel economy when tailwinds or time-ahead-of-schedule allows
OT1 is used for headwinds or when behind schedule

There's another thread on this, it's older.

The search option works, in the forum, I believe.

Agur!
