About codeshare flying...when flying online, do you use your DVA pilot ID# or should you switch to the codeshare airline callsign with your ID# at the end...example flying a codeshare flight for Continental fly as DVA#### or COA####?

I actually use the real flight number and put my DVA comments area when I log onto Vatsim.

I suggest using the actual airline code on Vatsim. As far as the flight number goes, we have no official policy. You may use whatever you wish. Personally, I use the real flight number on Vatsim and for PIREP reporting. The exception for me is when I participate in Delta group flight (unfortunately my personal life has me occupied at least through the start times of those). Then I use my DVA number. But that is a personal choice for me. You are free to use what you want.

Also remember to make sure the codeshare flight you fly is a valid Delta codeshare flight. The best way is to use the Delta Airlines flight schedule, not the skyteam schedule.
