I would like to ask if someone has the "old schedule" information that goes back(waay back) to before the demise of the MD11 aircraft off Delta's flight schedule.I can remember running the DAL1976 MCO-ATL legs quite often, and would like to see these re-instated here, even if but among the MD11/L1011 pilots.I think that Delta also operated the DC10-10 and -30 aircraft for a time in the middle to late 70's so we should look at this type as well.Point is I enjoy flying the big three-holers and hated to see them sold off by Delta.Your comments are solicited and most welcome.

See ya up there, and after all, this is a VIRTUAL Airline so whaddaya think?

Mike,

I do believe if you go into the schedule search, there are a couple of MD11 and L1011 flights in the DBase going to MCO.

Matt Creed has a lot of old timetables from the '70's. Try asking him.

I used to fly the KMCO to KLAX route all the time on the MD-11. I think it left at 8:30 am and arrived LAX direct around 10 or 11. A company we represented provided the corrosion control products on some of the a/c and were done in long beach. If I remember, they were going to be KMCO or KATL to LAX then on to japan. But the engines and computers did not work out. Some of the pilots I knew called them scuds, as the computer would dump fuel when it should not have done it. It is a great a/c to fly and also to be a passenger. Once I get bored with Level-D 767, the flying "brick", I want to look at the MD-11.
