Carlos,
The ACARS program is an optional utility created by Ross Carlson, and Luke Kolin and stands for Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System. It records the progress of your flight, gives you weight and balance information, U.S. charts, and a chat room for communicating with your other pilots. There are numerous other features that ACARS provides such as automatic PIREP submission. I suggest you download it and look over the manual and then give it a try. If you have any further questions about it let us know.
