Greetings.

I don't want to seem overly-impatient - I'm just a little curious...

I submitted my 727 FO test about 2.5 days ago. I know it can take up to 3 days, etc, but I was hoping to fly in that bird sometime this week. I only ask because in the past there has been an extremely quick turnaround... but I've noticed that isn't the case in 727-related things - so I worry that my actual transfer request (which I cannot yet submit) will take another handful of days...

Obviously, I don't know how things operate from the admin side, but I just wanted to make sure that the app hasn't fallen by the wayside in case that's possible.

Again, no biggie - but I'm just curious as to whether I should set my sights on flying her this week or just wait until next.

Jim, check your email please. I just graded yours and the other outstanding 727 F/O tests. You're cleared to file the request for the additional rating, and I'll get you your checkride ASAP. My apologies.

Lewis:

Thank you VERY much for your prompt response. However, I see the graded test, but do not have the option to file for the additional rating yet.

Please Advise,
Jim

In order to discourage rapid program shifts, we limit your ability to transfer programs or get additional ratings until you have completed a certain number of legs in your current program.

Cheers!

Roger that... That's my bad - I was a little confused by the Promotions manual, but now I get it!

Just as an FYI - it's a little confusing (in the manual) that one can take the test without having the minimum legs, but can't put in for the transfer/rating once passing the test. Why not simply limit them both?

I'm sure I'm overlooking something! Sorry... still somewhat new around here.

Anyway, thanks guys, I'll have those '67 legs in soon enough!
