Made a mistake in my last PIREP; May 21- KPFN to KATL....should be an ATR-72....NOT an A346...LOL!

If someone could fix for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Tim,

Thanks for pointing out the Flight Report error. This gives me the opportunity to bump the message thread on the topic.

It is best to let staff (your Chief Pilot and Assistant Chief Pilot) know by email when you detect an error in a flight report. We can correct errors that occur in airline, flight number, leg, aircraft, departing and arriving cities.

Submitting a duplicate corrected flight report should be avoided since it creates confusion. The duplicate report may not appear along with the original in the queue that staff works from. Also, flight reports are reviewed by several individuals, sometimes at the same time making it likely that a duplicate filing could be reviewed by two individuals.
