Hi All,
I have stumbled on a strange issue regarding the schedule.
I looked for a short hop from KATL for my 738 and found a nice one between ATL and CLT.
Now when I wanted to do the lag back to ATL, I could not find even one flight for the 738 out of CTL.
So what should a pilot do? Fly the leg to CTL park the 738 at the gate and walk back to ATL for his next leg ?
Any idea? wink

Thanks,

Ran Finkels

Alot of times Ran that flight will continue on to another destination instead of just returning back to where it came from. More than likely its going either to Cincinnati or New York. If you look at the scheduled arrival time of the 738 in Charlotte and then look an hour or so later at departures, you will probably find your 738 heading to another city.

There is a flight from CLT to ATL
http://www.deltava.org/browse.do?airportD=CLT&airportA=ATL

It doesn't matter if it is a B738, MD88 or whatever... you can fly any route there is, so long as the airplane you are flying is one you are rated to fly, and the airplane you are flying has the range. i.e. no 738 flights from ATL to CDG (Paris) as it doesn't have the range.

Sorry for my late response,
Strange but last week I couldn't find a 738 flight out of CLT and now it's there.
Well off to my PF, Thanks.

Ran.
