Taylor, who's a First Officer in our 737-800 program, had the distinction of flying the 1,689th Delta Virtual Airlines flight for the month of May. That sets a new record in terms of flights flown in a single month, and we have another day left.

Congratulations to all of you! This is our second consecutive month with over 4,000 hours and 1,600 flights - and our twelfth consecutive month of over 1,000 flights. Since November 1st, 2002, we've averaged 3,700 hours a month, and 1,590 flight legs. You're making this airline better and better every month, both in the air and in the Water Cooler here.

If you haven't yet flown in May, please take an hour or two tomorrow/today and join this great team of pilots.

Well that flight was also my 10 for a promotion to captain and i have passed the test. now the pilot center says im eligible for a promotion...what do i have to do now?

Nothing, your name will be put on an eligibile for promotion list, and then one of the staff members will check it. If they approve it, you will then be a captain.
