New hire question about proper callsign...and/or does it matter

DAL vs. DVA and flight #vs. pilot ID?

Is there a preference?

We have no official policy concerning the use of pilot number vs. flight number. It is totally at the discretion of the pilot. However, it is probably best to use pilot number when doing official DVA group flights. I believe that Vatsim controllers recognize both DVA and DAL.
