I have moved up to 767 first officer, completed my 10 flights. I just took my checkflight for the 777 and done the 777 first officer test, but have not done my 767 Captain test. I know that after that I will need to do my 10 flight for the 777 to become a Captain for that a/c. Question: the 10 flights for the 777 has to be done in the 777, or can I do it in the ratings in that category (eg 747). My real problem is that I alwasy use payware, pmdg 747, lds767, but I really have frame rates problem with the pss777. PMDG747 is softer on frame rates.

10 flights toward promotion have to be in the 777. Use the 777 from the delta installer, I have no problems fliying it.

I will try it out then. Can anyone tell me how to better the PSS77 frame rates. I accept anything that works for you.

Thats so strange. So many people have problems with the PSS for frame rates. I get a considerable decrease in rates with the PMDG 747, but have no problems with the PSS 777.

Yeah Justin, I have more frame rate problems with the PMDG 744 than with the PSS 777. But the PMDG isn't that bad though. I love them both, they are both awsome birds! The only bad thing I can see about the PSS is that it is way sensitive on the controls surfaces, other than that, she is one awsome aircraft!!! You just turn your sensitivities down a little bit, and walaa got yourself one of the best airplanes in the world to fly!!!

Cheers!

I was able to better frame rates in the PSS T7 by reducing the fps on the panels (shift + 8) from 9 down to 2. It is a little slow, but makes visual outside much smoother for me.
Regarding the pmdg fps, my case is that it is much generous than the T7. Maybe it has to do with individual settings (computer, fs9 options, etc). T7 is a little more unstable in my opinion during cruise and approach set up. PMDG is a little more smother and more stable (my personal opinion). Bothe big birds are great and fun to fly.
I can suggest a sound set for the T7 which is the General Electric GE90v2 Soundset for the Boeing 777 by Devyn Silverstein, file name ge90.zip and file size 51758kb at http://www.avsim.com This will blow your mind off when you hear it. Cant fly without this sound set anymore. Cant believe it's free.

fps are better on the PSS 777 if you use the model without the VC
