Hi There,

I just joined Delta as I was looking for a good American Va to fly for and think I found the right one :-)

I am now hired as a F/O on the 737-800. As a big MD-80 fan (worked on them for 2 years) I would like to fly them for Delta. What is needed to transfer from 737-800 to MD-80? I can't find any info about it.

Greetz

Iain

Welcome aboard, Iain.

You are technically on your way towards eligibility for a transfer. All you'll have to do is complete your 10 flights in the 737 and then pass the MD-88 exam and a short checkflight. We'll be happy to have you in our program. Feel free to email me directly if you have any questions. With your background in the Mad Dog, I'm sure I'll be picking your brain quite a bit. wink

Iain, read the promotion manual. It will provide all the requisite information needed for transfers...
