I have been flying NAT routes for a long time. I understad how to choose and fly them. I do not have much time crossing the Pacific. I have been looking at the PACOT routes, but it seems a little confusing for me. Is there any information on how to choose them, or any lecture that can explain them a little more in depth. I have mange to use them, but I am not really sure how they are used. For example, the KZOA A3152/06 - TDM TRK C and RJJJ A5812/06 represent trach identifiers?
Do these change on a daily basis? Flight levels depends on West/East movemnts? What is a flex route? I have noticed that some tracks has letters and others has numbers. Is there a reason for this?

The following link to the Oakland Oceanic FIR has a wealth of Info. Notes and routes do change so you need to check. I check before every flight which may be 3 to 5 times per year for the Pacific.

As an FYI, every 24 hours we pull the NAT and PACOT data from the DoD website that publishes said information. If we're not pulling at the right time, I always appreciate suggestions as to the "right" time to do the download. We have the capacity to get the data almost instantly if I can know when to fetch it.

I want to do my best to make DVA the best site to get your flightplanning data, provided I know when and where to get the data from. We have the where, we just need the when.

Cheers!
