Shane, I want to publicly thank you for your work on the DVA CRJ bird - you have taken a really bad handling airplane and turned it into something the DVA Flight Academy can use for flight training. The trim issues appear to be fixed! Great job!

Anyone who is flying the CRJ who has not recently downloaded the new CRJ, uninstall your old bird and download the new one - she flies MUCH MUCH better now!

I've been marvelled at Shane's MD11 FDE, I'm pretty sure he can pile up and get real any FS airplane. smile

Thank you Shane!

Cheers!

I have an issue with that CRJ! Something must have happened during installation after downloading it a few days ago. In the virtual cockpit, all I see are white boxes all over the place. The same goes when I look to upper right in regular cockpit towards the first officer area of instruments - just a white box area! Can't explain that one. However, I flew from Atlanta to Moline two days ago and it does fly better though even though I miss my wing views now.. wink

Sean

PS. Hopefully Florence isn't another Fabian. I just don't want this thing to blow up all of a sudden as it approaches us. That's the only thing that worrying me right now...

Ditto here, Sean. All the instruments from the VC are white placards or boxes. Being stuck in the 2D for the entire trip is...well...flat.

Sean, the work that Shane did dealt with the actual flyability of the aircraft. I am not sure about the VC.

Hey George and gang, thank you very much for these compliments! I'm glad that Luke and the rest of the training department allow me to work with them on FDE fixes. When you get a chance download the latest MD-11 fleet installer too, it has my most current MD-11 FDE, and I'm very happy with that one in particular.

I'll make sure to stay in touch with George and Scott to ensure that if any deficiencies are found on the CRJ or the EMB-120, I can fix them for y'alls.

As for the VC issues, make sure you post a comment in the ISSUE TRACKER and detail the problems you're having, and Luke will be able to take a look. I give you my word that when I worked on the FDE the only thing I touched was flight-related. I have zero skillz when it comes to doing anything graphics-related (to include VCs!)

And Scott, the extent of my panel skills include changing the viewpoint, and moving pre-manufactured gauges around on the panel itself. If what you need requires something like this lemme know.
