When trying to take off in all takeoff configurations (8 or 20 degree flaps), the plane just won't lift until i'm off the runway in terrain up to 200 kts then it'll start a gradual lift.

I went to my archives and found an Earlier (PRE-ACARS COCKPIT) Delta version and it worked fine, Does anybody else have the same probelm?

Hi Mario,
1. Check the amount of fuel you loaded for the flight, if you need more than 6300 lbs of fuel change the payload from 14250 lbs to a smaller number.
With a payload of 14250 lbs + 6300 lbs fuel you're near MTOW (Maximum Take-Off Weight) of 51000 lbs
2. Set the trim 1 or 1 1/2 notch up.
3. Up you go biggrin

Regards

Also check the CG and make sure it is not full forward--9,000 lbs in the nose may be the problem....or have the heavy passengers sit in the back.....fuel is an issue and so is weight and balance....

Does it have this natural left pulling tendancy that has been reported too?

That is a natural tendency in all aircraft Mario but often more so in prop aircraft. There are three factors that contribute to the pull: p-factor (force of blades on air pushing down, torque and I forgot the last one).

If you don't like it you can dumb it down in the FS9 configuration settings.

This may be a weight and balance issue more than anything. Assure your fuel loads and payload are correct before you go rolling. E.g I took off once in my DC 10 and wondered why the sucker wouldn't lift a few years ago. Turns out this time when FS started my payload was far in excess (red zone) for my flight and the aircrafts limitations. (In other words- what Charly said)

Alright guys...

Since I'm the one who did the update, I'm going to re-evaluate it again tonight with some new tools I have for correctly determining CG and trim setting. However, last time I fixed it, it was fine. I think we're just having some big cases of operator headspace and timing issues. ;-)

I'll get back to you tonight with what I find. In the meantime we need to investigate a gauge that shows the actual position of the stabilizer, not that silly wheel with the "notches" because those notches are absolutely arbitrary and they don't show you any raw, tangible information (IE 6.2° Aircraft nose up).

Its the trim. The only problem is I don't think theres a gauge that shows to how many knotches and such the trim is set to.
