I have switched everything back to the main DVA server, which has gone from being a 533Mhz DEC Alpha 21164 with 512MB of memory to a dual 600Mhz PIII with 1GB RAM. The OS has been upgraded from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000. If you encounter any problems, please let me know.

You shouldn't see much of a difference now (except for the alternating rows in the Water Cooler) but down the road this upgrade allows me to jump an entire major version of our application server software, and gives me a significantly expanded API, and upgraded JVM for our Java code.

Yeah, I've been a little down on ebay lately, but 2 PIIIs, a dualie mobo and 1 gig of RAM for $162 can't be beat. Now to get back on eBay and buy Lynne the PIII mobo I was ostensibly visiting that site for. smile
