Again I have tried to disable everything before running the installer, and still getting the same error messages. Today I downloaded the MD 11, and the panel is fine, but the sound file doesn't load, and no sound when outside the aircraft, even after loading and outside file.

Am really getting frustrated with this installer. PMStone has planes and have downloaded the MD90 there as the MD88 isn't working correctly from the installer. The 757-200 is not worth downloading as the sound and panel files aren't loaded. Faced the samething with the CRJ 200.

Help Luke!

I am downloading from AOL as well as Internet Explorer.

I'm starting to wonder if this has anything to do with the 7z compression. Go to http://www.7-zip.org/ and install that and try again.

As Matt said, this is a 7z extension problem. Make sure you do NOT have the "save downloaded files" box checked.

I have this same problem too. I'll try installing with 7zip. Gaston, this checkbox is in the installer right?

Gaston is right that there's a KNOWN issue with the installers. I'm desperately trying to avoid pushing out a new Fleet Library, but I fear I may have no choice.

Go to www.7-zip.org and download/install the 4.18 betas, and then run the installer again. The installer needs some DLLs in that package because I bundled the wrong utility.

I just tried opening the 727 folder with 7zip and the sound was a no go frown

Basically all of my planes have the sound problem. When im in 7zip, i right clicked on the EXE file and hit open and it opened normally. Is that the correct way to open the program with 7zip or am i doing something wrong?

No, you just have to run the installer again. The 7-zip extractor program only provides you with the way of interpreting the compression type.

Just run the installer again. Business as usual.

I tried it again but this time i used the southern server and not the eastern server. IT WORKED!!!
