I saw the download for the 787 or 7E7- but I wanted to know if DVA had a rating or program for this aircraft- it would be nice if we could log flights with this Aircraft...

Seeing as though the 787 hasn't even started flying yet and this is a virtual airline not a fantasy airline i don't think we will see flights with the 787 loggable until maybe 2008.

Mean no disrepect here Oliver, but if it's in the fleet, we should be able to fly it. I would like to fly it to. Can anybody shed some light on this?

Not to start a huge argument, but it IS in the fleet library. I think the question is, why is it in the fleet library if it isn't a usable aircraft? Maybe it should be removed if it is going to cause confusion.

As Norm said it may be in the fleet library but it can in no way be in the fleet, as the 787 has never taken to the skies and no real world airline flies it yet. Maybe it is there as many pilots were asking where to find a 787 in Delta Livery and so Luke just put it there for when we want to do a fun flight.

It is a nice aircraft to fly- Needs a good amount of RWY for Vr. I didnt meant to stir the pot here, I was just asking.

I am sorry if i came of as being harsh, what it really boils down to is that we can't fly the 787 because we don't know how the 787 is supposed to fly. It might actually get to Vr very quickly but since it has never flown we just don't know that.

To be honest with you it gets to Vr rather late....everytime Ive flown it- Needs about 8000 ft of RWY to take off completely

We don't know when the 787 gets to Vr as it has never flown, so whoever created the FDE for the 787 you are using created it to how HE thinks the 787 will fly. Which might be far off what it really flies like, when it does fly in the real world.

Yep like the Comments state in the Fleet Library, The Robert Versluys model of the proposed Boeing 7E7-800, Proposed being the key word LOL, So anyways Josh, You can take her up play around, but they can not be pirepable for now, I assure you once the Plane is in service, and the particulars of the dynamics are known, we all will be able to enjoy long hauls in it and credit the hrs in her smile
