I know that I've had some one on one email conversations with Terry and etc regarding this issue but I just want to throw it out there. I absolutley love to fly the 744! My absolute most favorite aircraft. I've started the process of moving up to get that rating but am stuck at the 767 right now because of the issue with the aircraft and their use with FSX. Chris passed me in my written FO exam but obvioulsy I couldn't take the check-ride. I need some guidance before I give up all together. I don't enjoy flying the 738 but that is about all I can do right now to get credit.

We're stuck right now because of a lack of proper panels for FSX. There is, however, nothing stopping you from downloading the FSX 767 of your choice from one of the major download sites and running your check ride with that.

Cheers!

Check on AVSIM or Flightsim, I think they're have been some 767's created for use in FSX, so you can fly your CR. Your not required to fly it with the DVA 767. I flew my 757 CR with the POSKY 757, and did just fine with that, because the fleet 757 killed my frames for some reason. Best of luck in your quest for 767 and ultimately the 744. While there is not a 747 program, I think the rating comes with the Triple 7.

Luke:

Paying for something that I will only use as an ends to a means doesn't seem real practical to me. But thank you both for your input.

The aircraft on both Flight Sim and Avsim are Freeware, theres no charge to use them. Project Opensky makes all freeware.

Jon, I looked around and there isn't much for FSX out there.

It doesn't have to be a 767. If you can find a 757 or 727 that will work in FSX, you could switch to that program and then move up.

The LDS 767 is going to be patched for FSX. But that wont be for a few weeks.
