To all those who have pending 727 checkrides or who are thinking about transferring into the program/picking up the rating during the next month:
1. Effective today, I am deleting all 727 Equipment Transfer Requests/Additional Rating Requests that are more than 30 days old. From here on out there will be a thirty-day window to fly the checkride, from the day it's assigned to you. Requests pending longer than 30 days will be deleted. You can re-file the request after it's deleted, without penalty (you don't have to retake the test) but please, try to fly the ride within 30 days. It helps keep things straighter on the administrative end.
2. I am coming off my work contract here in Richmond, VA and will be moving myself and my family to the Raleigh/Durham, NC area over the next few weeks. My Internet access may be spotty during that time. I'll do my best to keep up with PIREPs, checkrides, tests, and transfer requests, but your understanding during the move is much appreciated. I'm hoping I can be more-or-less settled and back in the saddle by the end of January.
