Congrats goes out to Scott Clarke, DVA2370, who is now the Director of the Flight Academy. Scott's been doing a whole load of stuff behind the scenes and was pretty much the chief CFI in an unofficial capacity. Today we make that official, as Scott Clarke takes over the reins and the Flight Academy is now officially his responsibility.

I'll be remaining in the VP of Training position and this promotion for Scott will allow me to address other areas of training needs within DVA. I'll continue to teach students of course!

Congrats Scott! You deserve it!

Congrats!-On a side note- If yall do create a commercial training program do you have to have gone through the DVA PPL, or would a real PPL be sufficient?

You will need to have the DVA PPL first. The courses are stage # driven - the PPL is stage 1, the Commercial stage 2 - you need 1 to get to 2, etc. If you're a real world PPL, the PPL course will be very quick.
