I'm going to give Build 83 of ACARS a second try; I've made a few changes regarding check rides, and hopefully this build will work better than the last time we pushed it out. ACARS Build 83 is the latest version available in the Fleet Library.

In the past, a significant minority of people reported problems with the EXE not starting up properly. If you run into this with Build 83, please let me know and I'll do what I can to fix things. I'm certainly keeping 81 around, but we really do need to get the fixes in the current build into production.

Cheers!

Since people are continuing to have problems with Builds 82 and 83, I have withdrawn both from the Fleet Library. There is an excellent chance that all ACARS 2.0 builds will be deprecated by February 1st.

Cheers!

Luke thank you for all of your hard work in making a newer ACARS but i think we can all live with the old one for still quite some time.

Luke, I have been using Build 82 with no problems (I have learned its little quirks (smile)). I have not used the non-ACARS 2.0 version in a while. Have you included displaying the flight schedules in that version. I can do without all of the other features in ACARS 2.0, but, I really like being able to view the schedules in ACARS. I have actually had instances where I have wriiten down a flight number an hour before I flew and then checked again and it was gone. This feature allows me to view the schedule as I file my flight plan. I do hope eventually, that you can correct the ACARS 2.0 issues. I can imagine your frustration. I program for a living. I really did like the concept of the new features (Gauge, Fuel Planning and last but not least, The Flight Schedules). Thanks for all your hard work on ACARS. I, really appreciate it. I know how much spare time this consumes.

Cleon

The fleet library has Delta Virtual ACARS build 75. Is this the correct one. It's the only one listed, so I downloaded it. Clarke (looking for the latest and greatest) Duarte smile

Right now, Build 75 is the only officially supported version while I resolve some issues in the 2.0 codebase. If you already have 82 (or 83) and they work for you, great. If not, you may want to use 75.

Cheers!
