Purchased the Airbus A320 by Wilco.Now I have numerous payware Airbuses, For example PSS, Aerosoft etc.
Here are my scores.
Rated 1 thru 10 , 10 been the best.

FMC = 10
Flight Dynamics = 8
Frame Rates = 8
Systems friendly = 5
Textures = 4
Sounds = 4
Virtual Cockpit = 2
Wilco technical help = 0

Overall I give this plane an F for effort.
You are better off downloading the IFDG with a panel and some good sounds.

In other Words save your money !!!

Sad but true.

"Systems friendly = 5 " How do you rate something system friendly?

and you gave the VC a 2?

LOL You can barely call the Aerosoft Airbus payware.

Hey Oliver can you press any buttons on the horrible looking cockpit.......NO I DIDNT THINK SO..... So therefore I compared it to other Payware aircraft out there. The virtual cockpit looks like one of those
Freeware planes.

Systems Friendly are just that , How friendly are the systems in conjunction with the aircraft.
For example
Wipers dont work
pressurization system and knobs dont work
plenty of DUMMY knobs.

Give me some more realism and I will work with ya !!!

I have to tell you the PSS so far is a better Airbus, And yes it was reccommended by the one and only YOURSELF !!!

Manuel,

Just asking if you can provide a link to your recommended panel and sounds? Avsim?

How does what you're proposing compare with the AFVA fleet installer?

Thanks,
Drew

Sure Mike goa ahead...

But I will wait for Mr.Oliver McRae's Input on how he finds the bird. After all he is the Airbus GURU here.
Just dont take my word for it. Along time ago I wasnt sure about and Airbus and Oliver helped me out with the PSS.

At first I hated the thing , Because I couldnt figured it out, But once I learned how the Airbus works and programming, I enjoyed it.
This Aircraft takes time to learn and lots of reading, Once you are comfortable with it becomes enjoyful.

Iam just a little upset becuse I expected alot more than what I already have.
The PSS is very similar and probably better than this a/c.

No i'm not joking, the knobs and switches of the overhead work for me, The real problem is that Wilco rushed the most important part, the packaging of the software. It seems that everyone got a different Aircraft lol.

The only thing disappointing to me so far is that I only fly by VC and with the exception of being at cruise this thing is dominating my machinge FPS wise and I have: C2D 6600, 2GB DDR 800, Raptor hard drives and 7900gt 512mb version. Kinda bummed.

A lot of it is too technical, but I see a couple of serious items in there...
